March 30, 2019 Editorial: Progress on Suicides. The Buffalo News credited the work of the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Erie County for the recent decline in people who have died by suicide in Erie County. “Just as Erie County had made progress in reducing the number of opioid overdose deaths, county health officials are to be commended for their suicide prevention efforts.” We can all help prevent suicide. We are grateful to The News Editorial Board for their recognition of our efforts.

October 2015 During Suicide Prevention Week 2015, the Suicide Prevention Coalition hosted an event for Primary Care providers at the Darwin Martin House. The event had over 70 attendees ranging from physicians, nurse practitioners to social workers. Buffalo Healthy Living Magazine joined us for this exciting event.
